Robert Tell (born April 4, 1937) is an American author, poet, publisher and speaker. He is grateful his parents didn't name him "William Tell." He lives in Farmington Hills, Michigan and winters in Boynton Beach, Florida. He last saw snow in 2004. Tell was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and was educated in Public Health and English at Columbia and Long Island universities. In his pre-writing career, Tell held senior management positions at hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Kansas City and Detroit. He was also a health policy specialist at an urban health planning agency, and held university teaching appointments as a professor of health policy and planning. Tell was also the owner of a human resource consulting firm specializing in the health care industry. He sold this business in 1998 to devote himself to writing. ==Writer== Robert Tell's award winning work has appeared in many periodicals.
